Check out this fun, little connection of Philly celebs.

Last night, Philly's reigning songstress, Jill Scott, tweeted that she used to work with Maggie Siff, who plays Tara on FX's "Sons of Anarchy":

You also might remember Siff as department store scion/Don Draper fixation Rachel Menken on "Mad Men." Siff, who grew up in the Bronx, but went to Bryn Mawr College was fixture in local theater in the mid-'90s, starring in the Arden's "Molly's Delicious," as well as productions for InterAct Theatre Company and the Lantern Theater Company, among others.

Scott described herself as the "world's oldest intern" at the Arden in a 2011 piece about her career. She also apprenticed at the Walnut Street Theatre. I talked to Scott about her most recent acting endeavor, playing saucy Gail in the Paula Patton-starring "Baggage Claim." As Philly.com's own Gabrielle Bonghi reported, Scott will play James Brown's wife in an upcoming biopic.
