Howard Eskin named sports anchor at Fox 29

Listen up, nitwits, morons, losers and dopes.

Howard Eskin has been named sports anchor at Fox 29.

The veteran sportscaster and 94 WIP weekend host starts Sept. 4 as sports anchor for Fox 29's 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts as well as Fox 29 Sports Sunday and Game Day Live.

And just so you know, genius, Eskin will also contribute to Good Day Philadelphia, the station has announced.

Current sports anchor John Anderson will become a reporter/anchor on various newscasts.

Eskin worked for Fox 29 from 1986, when he helped launch the 10 p.m. newscast, to 1991. He most recently worked at NBC10 on Sunday night's Sports Final and also popped up on weekend sportscasts.

”I've been incredibly fortunate in my career, having had the opportunity to cover some of the most memorable games and athletes in Philadelphia," Eskin said this afternoon. "But, there is nothing like getting a chance to return to FOX 29, where my heart has always been."

Well, there's one big reason to not watch Fox 29. I wonder if he will be as rude to his co-anchors as he was to his radio guests?

Would someone please drive a stake through the Wolfman's heart, and end this thing once and for all. Better yet, get Ike Reese on him again. He and Charles Barkley knew exactly how to handle his pompous behind.

As if the way Wolfman treated fans wasn't bad enough, he sold out to Lurie, never mumbling a bad (or truthful) word about the Eagles.

a desperate move by a station with NO ratings....A legion of knucleheads will tune in....and the majority of the Delaware Valley will gravitate to other stations.....

Eskin has never been afraid to voice his opinion and he seems to have a lot of inside information. He may get a little over the top but I always liked him.

Eskin has been nothing but a fur-coat wearing knucklehead since the 80s. Since I don't watch Fox sports as it is, I don't have to try to find a new channel.

Glad I don't watch Fox. This is just another reason not to watch it. Thought this guy was finished. Everybody hates him.
