Bolaris tells '20/20' about being drugged, scammed in Miami

John Bolaris will discuss being drugged and fleeced by two Eastern European hotties on an episode of ABC's "20/20."
The former Fox 29 meteorologist was interviewed recently in New York and Miami, where in 2010 two Balkan beauties urged him to "do shot," and he wound up being roofied. Then $43,000 was charged to his credit card.
Bolaris has fought paying the charges and is cooperating with federal authorities, who busted some Russian mobsters for the Miami nightclub scam. On Wednesday Bolaris was tightlipped about what "20/20" will reveal. "I have no control. I'm just as interested to see how the piece airs as anyone."
The weatherman says he is off to New Orleans April 13 to consult, meteorologically, on a film about Hurricane Katrina called "Hours," co-starring Paul Walker and Genesis Rodriguez.
A "20/20" rep confirmed that Bolaris will be featured in an episode but couldn't provide a firm air date. "Nightline" previously ran a story about Bolaris' Miami escapade, but he wasn't interviewed for that piece.
