Beyoncé Knowles is pregnant with twins, the star announced on social media Wednesday.

Knowles made her announcement via Instagram, writing that she and husband Jay Z are “grateful that our family will be growing by 2.” The “Single Ladies” hitmaker posted the message along with a photo showing off her baby bump:

We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters

Currently, the couple has one daughter: Blue Ivy, 5. The couple had previously attempted to add to their family prior to their daughter’s birth, with Beyoncé revealing in 2013 that she suffered a miscarriage before to Blue Ivy’s arrival in 2012.

“About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time. And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life,” Knowles said in her HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream, at the time. “I flew back to New York to get my check up — and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat.”

The star went on to write her song “Heartbeat” about the miscarriage, which she called “the saddest song I’ve ever written in my life.”

About a year after the miscarriage, Beyoncé gave birth to Blue Ivy, saying that being pregnant was “very much like falling in love” in the HBO doc.

Now, the star will get to fall in love all over again, twice. And, perhaps more importantly, Blue Ivy will finally have some siblings to play with.
