Atlanta judge slams Allen Iverson's parenting skills

An Atlanta judge put Allen Iverson in time out for his subpar parenting skills. Former Sixers great Iverson officially split from Tawanna Iverson a couple weeks ago, but TMZ has details on Iverson's custody agreement and the judge doesn't mince words when it comes to Iverson's parental history.

From TMZ:

[Iverson] does not know how to manage the children; has little interest in learning to manage the children and has actually, at times, been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development.
For example, he has refused to attend to an obvious and serious alcohol problem, which has caused him to do inappropriate things in the presence of the children while impaired. He has left the children alone without supervision.
He has left his young daughters in a hotel room with men who are unknown to the mother.

Tawanna has full custody of the kiddies, while Iverson has visitation rights, although he has to abide by strict rules, including abstaining for alochol for 18 months (after the period is over, he can't drink for 24 hours of seeing his kids), attending AA meetings and seeing a shrink.

Tawanna and Allen have five children together and had been married since 2001.

Recently, Iverson has sought to rejoin the Sixers, but Bob Cooney thinks that Iverson should keep his memory intact, but remaining a memory.

Iverson earned over $154 Million dollars just from basketball. Hard to believe one man can waste that much money, but he seems to have accomplished that task. A $3 Million dollar divorce is cheap.

Well, duh! Iverson has poor parenting skills? What actual skills does he have, besides (formerly) breaking down his man on the basketball court? He wasn't even a good shooter. He certainly has no life skills. He'll be living on a steam grate soon.

Iverson is a very poor excuse for a son, father, husband or even a human being!

Let's be honest. More than likely this isn't going to have a happy ending. He didn't want to take responsibility in his twenties. He doesn't want to do it now. If he wasn't a talented basketball player he'd be someone that we never heard of.
