Alycia Lane fired from LA news station

Looks like Alycia Lane is out of a job. Again.

Former CBS3 anchor Lane, who will live in Philadelphia infamy, was axed from her spot at KNBC in Los Angeles, according to TV Spy. KNBC gave no reason for the ouster.

Lane went national recently when she happened to be near the blast site of the Boston Marathon attacks, speaking with the “Today” show and “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.” In other recent Lane news, her suit against ex-CBS3 anchor Larry Mendte had been dismissed.

Also out? Another familiar face: Sean Murphy, a former CW Philly traffic reporter.

Lane had been with KNBC since 2009, while Murphy had been at the station since 2010.
