'Real Housewives of NJ' stars Teresa and Joe Giudice have a brief run-in with LBI cops
You know those beach badges that cost, oh I don't know, five bucks per person to enter the beach? These bite-sized admission tickets created a big problem on LBI this weekend for two reality TV stars.

You know those beach badges that cost, oh I don’t know, five bucks per person to enter a family-friendly, lifeguard-secured zone in order to enjoy a fun day of laying out on warm sand and splashing in the vast Atlantic?
These bite-sized admission tickets created a big problem on LBI this weekend for two reality TV stars.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars, Teresa and Joe Giudice, who are currently in scalding hot water over fraud charges, were approached Saturday afternoon by a teenage beach employee who asked to see their badges, TMZ reports.
The couple, who was with a group of about 30 friends and family members, angrily responded that they wouldn’t cough up the money to enjoy a day on Ship Bottom Beach. “There were many of them,” a Ship Bottom Police Department rep told Philly.com Tuesday morning. “And they just didn’t want to purchase beach badges.”
According to TMZ, a family member even yelled at the young beach employee saying, “We are not paying for the F---ing beach. This is a joke!” The situation escalated once the girl started crying.
“They did refuse to purchase [the admission tags], which is why we were called,” the rep adds. “Once we were called, they did purchase the badges.” Beach Patrol was not available for comment.
Five bucks a pop. Situation, resolved.
