Wah. Governor Christie doesn't like Jersey Shore. The MTV show, that is.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the heart of the hit reality series that ended its run in December after six seasons of chronicling the cast in Seaside Heights, met Gov. Chris Christie on Friday. The awkward encounter, which was captured by the Asbury Park Press, reveals a sassier side of Snooks.

Castmates Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Deena Cortese stand beside the tiny figure as the dialogue begins with Snooki jokingly protesting Christie standing too close to her. Then Cortese chimes, "I'm from Jersey and I thought you did a good job with the hurricane!"

"We just wanted to meet you," says Polizzi. "We hope you'll start to like us." Christie, who's never particularly warmed up to the reality show due to its "negative" portrayal of the state responds, "Well, we'll do our best."

After Christie leaves, Snooki quips, "He just doesn't like us, that's it." Watch below.
