Bosses at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas have dismissed reports suggesting Ben Affleck has been banned from the resort for allegedly counting cards at a blackjack table.

Reports suggest the Argo star's gambling success on Tuesday night prompted Hard Rock security staff to ask him to step away from the table. Affleck has yet to comment on the drama, but venue bosses have issued a statement to make it clear that the actor/director is always welcome in their gambling halls.

The statement reads: "Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time." The movie star is currently preparing to take on the role of Batman in the new Man of Steel sequel.
