Police found evidence of drug use at Peaches Geldof's home

Police investigating the death of tragic socialite PEACHES GELDOF have revealed that drug paraphernalia was found at her house. Geldof was found dead at her home in Kent, England in April (14) and police officers stated they were treating the tragedy as "unexplained". It was also reported that no evidence of drug use was found at the scene. At an inquest on Thursday (01May14), results of toxicology tests revealed traces of heroin in Geldof's blood was "likely" to have contributed to her death. Kent Police's Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham has now confirmed drug-taking equipment was seized from the property, saying, "Inaccurate reports have also been made suggesting no drugs paraphernalia was found at the address, with suggestions the scene had been 'tampered' with prior to police arrival. While no detail will be provided around specific items, to prevent further speculation I will confirm that my officers did seize drugs paraphernalia from the address on April 7." Officers are now investigating who supplied Geldof with heroin. The inquest into her death will continue on 23 July (14).
