Kanye West in and out of jail for booking over paparazzo attack

Rapper KANYE WEST was in and out of jail in 49 minutes on Thursday (27Mar14) after turning himself in to Hollywood police to be formally booked for his attack on a paparazzo last summer (13). Earlier this month (Mar14), the Stronger hitmaker pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and was ordered to serve 250 hours of community service, attend anger management classes, and stay away from snapper Daniel Ramos, who he had clashed with at Los Angeles International Airport last July (13). The new dad spent less than an hour with Los Angeles Police Department officials on Thursday as he was fingerprinted and had his mugshot taken as he officially accepted his punishment, which also included two years probation. But the case isn't over for West - he must pay restitution to Ramos and a hearing to determine costs has been set for 17 July (14). The photographer is also taking civil action against the rapper.
