Will Britney use her python to 'X Factor'?

The world already is way ready to move on From The Big News of The Month, to wit that Britney Spears has signed a fat (albeit most definitely not phat) $15 million deal to share her worldly wisdom and considered opinions as a judge on Simon Cowell’s answer to Simon Cowell’s American Idol, The X Factor.

Demi Lovato also has been signed by the show, TMZ adds to the multiple Brit reports.

Thing is, we can’t move on.

We are chained to the past thanks to Fox: The network hasn’t officially announced their move. They’ve not denied it. They’ve not confirmed it.

This even though TMZ has photos and a video of Britney arriving in New York City this morning, reportedly to take the stage when Fox eventually makes its official announcement.

TMZ’s vid even has Idol judge Randy Jackson confirm the news: He says Demi and Brit’s addition is “hot.”

VIDEO: Brit arrives in New York this morning, reportedly to join Fox suits for the exciting announcement!
