Kelly Clarkson has been virtually celibate for half a dozen years, having shed her last boyfriend, Oklahoma-born rocker Graham Colton in the harsh winter of 2006.
No more! No more.
Kelly, 29, told Toronto radio station CHFI (98.1-FM) earlier this month, “I have a new boyfriend.”
She didn’t name that most blessed man.
The mystery seems solved: Us Weekly says the lucky guy is Nashville talent manager, Brandon Blackstock, 35, whose dad happens to be Kelly’s own manager, Narvel Blackstock.
What’s more, Brandon’s step-mom is none other than Kelly-admired fellow country warbler and actor, Reba McEntire.
An anonymous insider tells Us Brandon is teaching Kelly that love is a good thing. That relationships can work. That she need not live and die alone.
“Before Brandon, Kelly had a really tough time with love," the source says. “He is just what she needed.”
Kelly’s reps have yet to comment.
