We showed the dog crap in the Tacony neighbor shooting piece about the piece at 5 pm.
There was NO need to show it.

- It's a shame multiple employees of this paper have made jokes about this tragic incident. A 6-week old girl will never know her father because he was gunned down in cold blood. All responsible for making light of this should take a long look in the mirror. You should all be ashamed.
- @chris_mc1: I think when people make jokes about a crime in Philly, they are mostly directed at the guy who did the crime; usually it's for a stupid reason , and obviously this one is off the charts in that regard. Nobody thinks the victim's situation is funny, but I will say that perhaps ridicule of the bad actors from people that live in this city might make judges and DAs realize that they are waaay too lenient on violent crime. This guy deserves life without parole. I have doubts he'll get that, so the boards here reflect a very cynical look at city life because there are so many animals in this city that should probably be in jail, but aren't. Let's face it, we live in a city where people actually think it's OK to kill someone because they sold crack on your corner, or they looked at you in a way you thought was disrespectful, or they parked in your space, or you confronted them about their dog. Happy, sunny, upbeat comments would probably be found in a comment board of the major newspaper of some other city; the ship sailed long ago on this one.— drbob1

- If they took all the poop off the air on FOX, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC there would be NO news of the stinking congress(both parties), any and all politicians from both parties, and NEVER EVER an agenda driven plastic head. - I didn't see the TV story and usually don't think poop makes for good TV, but this showed what the neighbors were actually putting up with. Yesterday the perp was not even charged yet, today we find out that he was a lousy neighbor and emptyed his clip into the victim. If you own dogs, clean up after them. There should be stiffer penalties for committing a poop and run. I don't want to clean up their dog's mess. Hopefully someone will clean up the block and deliver the droppings to the girlfriend. Meybe she could bake a poop pie with a saw blade inside for Tyrik to bust out of the slammer!
