Nick Cannon, 31, has been hospitalized in Aspen, Colo., for “mild kidney failure,” wife Mariah Carey, 41, said this morning via Twitter.
"Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman," she wrote from the hospital. She also tweeted a photo of herself cuddling with Nick in his hospital bed.
Carey later posted an extended note on her website.
“We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful,” she writes.
“We’re doing OK but we're "straaaaaanded in Aspen". #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we're together, we're OK.”
Nick and Mariah were in town for a skiing holiday. No word on whether the couple’s 8-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, were with them.

- There is no such thing as mild kidney failure.I ought to know I've had 4 kidney operations.When your kidneys shut down it effects a lot of other organs.He might have a blockage,or stones depending on bow they were caused.He will either pass them(painful) or they can do laser surgery and blast them.Recovery is a process but Nick is young and he will probably bounce back quickly.— vrb1955
