The excitement in the city is obvious, as tickets for this Saturday’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints sold out within minutes of going on sale. Eagles fans anxiously await the 8:10 kickoff at the Linc to support their team as the birds play in their third straight primetime game. It’s undeniable that the Eagles have given the city a reason to cheer with explosive plays throughout the season and into the playoffs, however what they do off the field is even more impressive.

As Philly fans show their dedication and loyalty to the team, similarly the players demonstrate the respect and love they have for the Philadelphia community. Many players consistently dedicate Mondays—their single day off—to community service. From visiting hospitals to planting trees, here are 11 more reasons you should be proud to root for your Philadelphia Eagles this Saturday.
