The excitement in the city is obvious, as tickets for this Saturday’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints sold out within minutes of going on sale. Eagles fans anxiously await the 8:10 kickoff at the Linc to support their team as the birds play in their third straight primetime game. It’s undeniable that the Eagles have given the city a reason to cheer with explosive plays throughout the season and into the playoffs, however what they do off the field is even more impressive.

From visiting hospitals to planting trees, here are 11 more reasons you should be proud to root for your Philadelphia Eagles this Saturday.

Though there are many other players and events that have impacted the Philadelphia community over the season, these were just a few. It’s nice to know that the players are just as excited to be a part of this city as we are to have them. #BeatNewOrleans
