The "Hairless Prophet of Doom," as he is known to Jon Stewart, won't be on CNN come Friday. Bryn Mawr-based Ali Velshi, CNN’s chief business correspondent, is leaving CNN after 12 years at the 24/7 news network.

Fun fact: ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," based on the YA book series of the same name, is set in Rosewood, a fictional town right outside of Philadelphia. Its high-class setting is largely believed to be based on the Main Line town of Rosemont.

Former WB17 sportscaster and current “Today” show weekend anchor Jenna Wolfe announced yesterday that she is expecting a baby girl with partner Stephanie Gosk, an NBC News correspondent. The announcement is the first time Wolfe had publicly discussed her sexuality.

In today's column, I told you about a tiny snafu NBC10 had regarding some doggy-goings out in Germantown. Reporter reporter Christine Maddela was up in their new helicopter, SKYFORCE10, when the camera zoomed in on some dogs going at it.
