When you head down to your polling place on Tuesday, don't be surprised if Election Day looks a little spiffier — or  the signs telling you it's Election Day do, at least.

Next Stop: Democracy, an organization focused using art to improve civic spaces, is back for a third year, and this time, they've teamed up with local artists to beautify our polling places.

With some help from the Philadelphia City Commissioners Office, NSD will provide every polling place in Philadelphia with artwork from local creators to clearly mark that Tuesday is Election Day.

The goal, according to a release from NSD, is to use "creative signage [to] transform Election Day from something mundane into something more fun." As a result, organizers hope to determine if public art can help voter engagement rates.

This year, NSD will debut three new posters for Election Day from artists Amberella, Nate Harris, and Monica O!. The new posters join some 60 "Vote Here/Aqui" designs the organization debuted over the past two years.
