Look into my crystal ball. Here is what your entertainment future has in store.

For an active story time: Tots ages 2 to 6 can shake their groove things for half an hour starting at 11 a.m. for a rhythmically inclined story time at the Paoli Public Library in Paoli, PA.

For a crafty happy hour: Make magnets and a beaded treasure at the Philadelphia Magic Gardens’ July happy hour. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the artfully adorned garden on South Street will have drink specials, a musical guest and community comradery for the 21-and-over crowd.

For a big, fat, fake wedding: Get inspired for your impending nuptials (or revel in the spectacle) at this fake wedding, designed to give brides a chance to sample different vendors and servicers they’d potentially use at their own wedding. NotWedding begins at 6 p.m. at Power Plant Productions on North Second Street.

For an aquatic activity: Get the 411 on the basics of kayaking at the Silver Lake Nature Center in Bristol, PA from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For an indie rock show: LA band Kitten, whose opened for No Doubt, Young The Giant, Paramore and others, plays at District N9NE with doors at 7 p.m. at the venue on North 9th.
