Comedy tour featuring Adam Sandler, David Spade, and more to stop at Tower Theater

This winter, Philadelphia will play host to funnymen Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Space, and Nick Swardson for one night of comedy.

The Tower Theater will host the comedians on Friday, Dec. 9, when they bring their “Here Comes the Funny Tour” to town, courtesy of Netflix. The four comics previously banded together for The Do-Over Tour, which supported Spade and Sander’s The Do-Over Netflix original.

Philadelphia is one of nine stops on the tour, with dates also booked in cities including New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Atlanta. Other cities, however, will reportedly also see performances from Norm Macdonald and Tim Meadows.

Sandler, Schneider, and Spade previously worked together on Saturday Night Live. Swardson, who starred in Reno 911! and Nick Swardsons Pretend Time, is a frequent collaborator on Sandler’s films, appearing in Click, Grandma’s Boy, and Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, among others.

Tickets for the December date go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. The event is recommended for adult audiences, according to a flier.
