As part of PECO's Multicultural Series, Penn's Landing will host a Festival of India that will celebrate the country's illustrious culture on Saturday, Aug. 17.

As part of PECO’s Multicultural Series, Penn’s Landing will host a Festival of India that will celebrate the country's illustrious culture this Saturday, Aug. 17.

The festival will commemorate India's independence - which was on Aug. 15 - with a fun day of activities that highlight the vibrant culture of the Indian diaspora. Attendees can sample delicious, traditional Indian cuisine and lively dance performances.

Along with live entertainment, visitors can also peruse the ornate Indian clothing, crafts, art and jewelry on display as part of an extensive exhibit.

Now into its twentieth year, the event is a beautiful celebration of the Indian community within the Greater Philadelphia area. Check it out!
