I 'auto' get some greener wheels
When I get to the Philly Auto Show, which starts Saturday, Jan. 31 and continues through Feb. 8, I'm going to try really hard to keep an open mind and to check out some of the 'green' machines they'll have on display.
It's been more than a decade since I bought a new car. I need one, but I keep putting it off and putting it off. Now I'm almost ready to start at least planning what vehicle to buy.
My husband has been trying to talk me into going with a Toyota Prius. Smart choice, right? You can't argue with a car that gets you 48 miles to the gallon in the city. But I haven't waited this long to make a choice based just on practicality. It's not asking too much to have something with a little sizzle to it and at the same time, eco-friendly, right?

I sure hope I like them... you can bet I'll let you know!
