Public Input Hearings

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is holding more public hearings this time around for the licensing of Philadelphia's second casino. And they're making it easier for folks by holding the sessions here instead of Harrisburg.

But so far, the sign-up is light.

For the hearings on April 11 and 12 at the Convention Center, only 33 people have asked to speak: nine representatives from community groups, plus 24 individuals. And this is interesting: no legislators or local government representatives are on the list.

For the South Philadelphia hearing on May 8 at Lincoln Financial Field, West Club Level, only one person has signed up -- and no legislators or local government representatives.

There's plenty of time. Go to the gaming board's website.
