Bounty of online info on 6 applicants

Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posts online the applications of the six casino contenders.

Bounty of online info on 6 applicants

One thing is better the second time around: Public access to the truckloads of documents submitted on behalf of the six applicants for Philadelphia's second casino license.

In 2006, if you wanted to review the applications of the groups vying for licenses, you had to drive to Harrisburg and wade through boxes of files.

This time, everything's a click away on the PA gaming board's website. (See righthand margin for all the news from Philly.)

The gaming board has posted the complete applications with the exception of the Market8 proposal which, as of Wednesday, Feb. 27, was MIA.

While the online documents offer more than what was available previously, be forewarned that the redactions are heavy.
