Forget Casey Anthony and the Octomom: ABC's landed an interview with the late Jackie Kennedy.

Sort of.

On Sept. 13, on the eve of the publication of a new book, "Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy," ABC News will air a two-hour special with anchor Diane Sawyer, "Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words," employing sections of some eight hours of audio interviews the former first lady recorded with historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. not long after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963.

The interviews were sealed -- until recently -- and according to ABC, "From that point on, the famously private former first lady steadfastly refused to publicly discuss her memories of those years."

Sawyer will also have an interview with Caroline Kennedy and (it almost goes without saying) ABC viewers will see portions of the specials on its news programs throughout the week.
