New life -- online -- for canceled ABC soaps

Soap fans, start your modems. "One Life to Live" and "All My Children" will live on as Web series, ABC having announced today that it's licensed both of the canceled daytime dramas to a company called Prospect Park, which will "continue production of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” beyond their life on ABC."

"One Life to Live" and "All My Children" will live on as Web series, ABC having announced today that it's licensed both of the canceled daytime dramas to a company called Prospect Park, which will "continue production of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" beyond their life on ABC."

The company, said ABC, "will produce and deliver the two long-running programs to consumers via online formats and additional emerging platforms including Internet-enabled television sets. Under the terms of the arrangement, the programs will continue to be delivered with the same quality and in the same format and length."

So just how loyal are "AMC" and "OLTL" fans? Loyal enough to watch on their phones? On their laptops? Loyal enough to buy a new TV just to see Susan Lucci?
