Who's in, who's out; update on Vick

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson (concussion), left tackle Jason Peters (knee) and defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (elbow) will not play Sunday against Tennesee, coach Andy Reid said.

Michael Vick (rib) is listed as questionable, although Reid said Vick will be in uniform. He said he was unsure whether Vick would be second or third quarterback. Reid said Vick is progressing and Reid is "pretty confident" that Vick will be ready in two weeks when the Eagles face the Colts after the bye.

Vick has been listed as a full practice participant the last two days, working here and there with the scout team. He said today he is at "full strength" passing the ball, a little less than three weeks after suffering a rib cartilage tear when he was sandwiched between two Washington Redskins.

Vick said he isn't sure what his role might be this weekend. It would be a surprise, wth the bye coming up, if the Birds used him in any other situation than a Kevin Kolb injury.

"When the situation calls for me to go in and play, then I'll be ready," he said."Whatever my role is (going forward), whatever I'm asked to do, I'll do it, on both sides of the fence, as a starter or a backup. I'm a total team player."

Vick acknowledged he had never been part of such a  situation before, but said it wasn't that daunting.

"You know, it's just competition. Pushing one another, helping one another, and trying to win football games."

Reid said Jackson "hasn't quite passed" the verbal concussion testing, although his condition is improving.

Defensive end Brandon Graham will play after missing practice yesterday with an illness and an ankle issue.

Indications in Tennessee are that Kerry Collins will start in place of Vince Young, who has an injured knee. Reid said that the Titans are like the Eagles in that they have "two good quarterbacks" that teams must game plan for.

"The bottom line is you have to go out and play," Reid said of the two Titans QBs. You can't get tied up in that whole thing and have two huge game plans for each guy. Can't possibly get anything accomplished. It comes down to playing football.".
