Where the Eagles rank ...

Paul Domowitch offers his training camp rankings in tomorrow's Daily News.
Here is a sneak preview with his Top 5 and ranking for the Eagles.
1. Colts (14-2), Peyton Manning will be able to name his touchdown and passing yards numbers.
2. Saints (13-3), They can’t count on eight touchdowns from their defense again this year.
3. Cowboys (11-5), DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer and Jay Ratliff are going to make life miserable for opposing QBs.
4. Chargers (13-3), With his land-of-the-giants receiving corps, Philip Rivers led league in yards per attempt.
5. Ravens (9-7), With additions of WRs Anquan Boldin and Donté Stallworth, Joe Flacco will be able to show off his cannon arm.
13. Eagles (11-5), The guy feeling the most heat heading into training camp isn’t Kevin Kolb. It’s defensive coordinator Sean McDermott. His unit holds the key to Eagles’ 2010 fortunes.

eagles will be as good as their defense carries them...typical dumb post by hoodlum..... DON17
those are last year's records einstein franknbeans
Offensively the Eagles will be just fine, but I worry about the defense......A LOT! obergruber
Domo, the person that should feel the most heat is AR, but of course you would never write anything negative about him. AR traded the best QB in Eagle history, Name me another coach of the 4 Philly teams that has coached that long without ever winning a championship? keepitreal1234
I gotta admit, Domo, those are pretty sensible predictions. The cool thing about the NFL is everyone's predictions are usually way off in some way. Besides your top five, the Jets, Minnesota, Green Bay, and New England seem to have the best chance. Niners could surprise if they get good quarterbacking. Eagles could be as good as #10, but I see them more like #18. A lot has to fall into place, and a few injuries could derail them totally -- like Asante Samuel, Trent Cole, Stewart Bradley, and Jason Peters. If the Ravens D can hold up (gettin old), I like them over the Jets and Colts, but the safe pick is the Colts. For the Eagles this season is more about next year -- are we setting the plate for a great year or a fall to mediocrity? Right now I see a team that's going to have trouble getting past the first round the next three years. We do not make offensive coordinators nervous. No great cornerbacks to complete the Johnson/McDermott schemes. Linebackers are gimpy. If I'm Drew Brees or Tony Romo, I want to see the Eagles in the playoffs. tacklinjoe

Those are their records from last year, you dope. Not domo's predicted record for this year. People go whine on radio about Philly fans getting a bad rap....but we really do have one of the dumbest fan bases on earth. adzack3441
The Eagles can win a Super Bowl, but first Jeff Lurie needs to realize that Andy Reid is utterly incapable of doing so. rhawnhurster
adzack3441, if you read posts from other cities you will realize that they have dumb fan bases too. Most people are not that bright. Reid Must Go- Then why post last year's records? Does that make any sense? Blame Domo!
You post last year's records to show which teams Domo has projected to be big improvements over last year (e.g., Ravens). No problem with it. Dave14
no problem, the birds will be make the playoffs that's all that counts....wolf. wolf 4
