When will McNabb deal happen?
Daily News
From reading the comments on our previous posts, we get the sense a lot of you are already tired of the rampant discussion and unsubstantiated rumors about where Donovan McNabb will be traded. And we don't blame you.
Today, we will take a different tack on the McNabb conversation. Not about where he might land, but when he will land somewhere, if he is even traded at all. Making a move with the quarterback will help dictate a lot about the remainder of the Eagles' offseason, especially if they get a high draft pick in return or a player at a position of need, or both.
The Eagles have insisted they are not done building this team. Even Andy Reid conceded last week that they had more work to do. He said the team was ready "to compete," but the issue really is whether they can contend.
At right is a poll with some possibilities, ranging from being traded in the immediate future to not being traded at all. Obviously, the two key dates to consider here are the start of the NFL draft on April 22 and the date McNabb is due a roster bonus of more than $6 million, which is May 5.
So, cast your vote in the poll or leave a comment below or both.

The big NFL story of the day is quarterback Sam Bradford's Pro Day at Oklahoma, which got underway a short time ago. Many big names are in attendance among the 50 or some team executives, including four representatives from the St. Louis Rams, who have the No. 1 pick overall. That includes general manager Billy Devaney and head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
According to Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson, Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is also in attendance.

Another interesting nugget on the quarterback trail in terms of the draft is that Tim Tebow was in Buffalo last night and had dinner with Jim Kelly. The best part of this is that it was revealed by his wife Jill on her Twitter page.
it all depends on when Donnys mom ok it braven98
They should just release him and let him sign on with his best option. At this point, a 2nd round pick is not worth trashing the best QB in Eagles history. He is not going to play for the Raiders or Rams. What has McNabb done so bad to the organization that they would send him to teams like that? Even if you don't like McNabb how can you justify that punishment? sbdons1982
Eagles suck. Most non appreciative fans on the planet. Frenchmontana
Huge mistake to let him go after we finally have playmakers by his side. However, since our O-line and D-line are both average to below average, it won't matter who the qb is....he'll be punished mercilessly all season. philly449
OK,, the Phils won a championship, the flyers ?, the sixers ? (lol, lmao), why is Donovan such a loser when he has provided the only stability in this town for 11 years. How many championship games have the other three teams in this town appeared in in the last 11 years. Does anyone think that Manning or Brady or Brees would have won a Bowl with the cast of clowns that Donovan has been forced to work with his entire career here. Trash and Pinkston, etc, just don't cut it. Donovan has done "wonders" with what he has been FORCED to work with. Bring on Kolb and see what you get. And do not complain when our favorite football team goes 7 and 9. phillyroni
All I have to say is which one one of you commenting idiots are better than McNabb?? I thought so, so keep your air guitar/buffoon comments to yourself. I bet you were the ones running around crazy jumping up and down when Donovan took us to the superbowl, or how about one of the greatest plays ever vs the cowgirls (pass to freddie mitchell) You guys will be crying if he leaves and Kevin corn on the cobb gets his ribs cracked by London Fletcher. bleedgreen1977
