What Andy Said, What Andy Meant (post-Cardinals II)

On whether he thinks Donovan McNabb is the best quarterback for this team going forward: What Andy said: ``As we talk today, I feel very good about Donovan. I think Donovan had a heck of a year. My hat’s off to him.’’ What Andy meant: ``Let me get back to you on that after I talk to Joe.’’ On whether he finds some comfort in the fact that he has made it to the NFC Championship Game 5 times since many people didn’t think he’d ever win a playoff game: What Andy said: ``I don’t even go there. This is not a grudge match against anybody. All I care about is whatever I can bring and this football team can bring to win a championship. I’m not in it for vindication or anything else. I don’t go there. It’s not my style.’’ What Andy meant: ``Up yours, Philadelphia. You’re stuck with me for at least a couple more years.’’ On whether it becomes increasingly frustrating for him when they get this close and don’t make it: What Andy said: ``I can’t tell you that I’m the happiest guy in Philadelphia right now. I can’t tell you that. I’m disappointed we’re not moving on. I can’t compare it to another time.’’ What Andy meant: ``I haven’t felt this depressed since Wendy’s discontinued the super cheese jalapeno burger.’’ On whether he feels the offense missed something with Brian Westbrook being limited by injury much of this year: What Andy said: ``Brian wasn’t limited yesterday. Brian was out there. He was our starting tailback. He looked like he had some zip yesterday. We just didn’t take advantage of opportunities.’’ What Andy meant: ``Limited? Just because he had the lowest rushing and receiving averages of his career? Just because he had only six 100-yard rushing and receiving games the entire season? Just because he averaged only 2.4 yards per carry in the playoffs? Whachu talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?
