Yeah, because we all know how much success the Eagles have had with drafting defensive ends with their first pick. How many mediocre defensive ends does one team need before it decides it may actually need a couple linebackers to have a good defense?

I echo Hemingway's poetic verse. The team has such a great history of drafting undersized defensive linemen while totally neglecting the linebacker position. Andy's defensive philosophy is the definition of insanity.

Ditto, How many defensive ends are we gonna draft. Didn't we draft one last year in the first round and we have Cole on the other side.

Even my 92 year old grandmother knows we need size in the middle of the D Line.

If he's cheap then Banner will make sure we draft him. It doesnt matter if he's good just cheap. Right Joe????

That would be another moronic move, pretty much like last year's entire draft was. All defensive picks and in the O-line almost killed the quarterback in the first half of the first game, and had Vick running for his life the rest of the season. This year the offensive line needs to be addressed. Pouncey would have been a great selection last year and could have helped immediately like he did for the Steelers. Why can they get it right and the Eagles always seem to get it wrong. Andy Reid is just as bad as Ray Rhoades was in judging talent (Mamula instead of Sapp).

Let me guess, 6'3" 254 lbs, has a motor that never stops and can even drop back into coverage like Trent Cole (how'd that work out last year?). Better yet, maybe the coaches can line him up opposite Ibeamary or the 1st round bust from last year (if he ever makes it back from IR). I'd rather draft the 6' 2" CB from Colorado, even with all the character issues he's said to have. At least we know he can flat out play! Stop reaching for these fast, undersized, tweener linemen who get worn down by the majority of NFL offensive lines.

The Eagles should trade Kafka for Asamougha and trade some of our 7th round picks for 1st round picks and form an all midget D line and hire Castillo as their DC (oh wait they already did that) mmmmmmm crack is yummy =)!

I know it sounds boring but get some help on the right side of the o-line or draft a corner..they blow at drafting d lineman..

Small and fast is the way to go. Why even look at those lumbering college guys? We should draft Australian Aborigine sprinters. I can see everyone in the crowd with didgeridoos, this could be fun....

if they draft another Defensive lineman I am going to scream!!!! Obviously we have no clue how do draft for the DL so lets address that via trade or free agency.
