Vick gets another endorsement deal

POSTED: Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 1:48 PM

Michael Vick has added another endorsement deal to his portfolio.

He has become an equity partner in Double Eagle Holdings, the parent company of Fuse Science. According to a press release, the company "is the developer of new, patent-pending technologies poised to redefine how consumers receive energy, medicines, vitamins and minerals."

The partnership was negotiated by Chicago attorney Andrew Stroth.

“As one of the most prolific, athletic and versatile quarterbacks in the NFL, Michael Vick encompasses what Fuse Science delivers: high performance naturally,” Fuse Science CEO Adam Adler said in a statement. “This is a positive synergy and a unique agreement in that Michael is now an equity partner and not simply a paid endorser. He recognizes the significance of the Fuse technology and wants to be a part of our company’s growth.

This is a 5-year, exclusive agreement for Vick.

Last week, Vick and MusclePharm agreed to a 3-year, $1.55 million endorsement deal, and he previously announced a new relationship with Nike.

Initially, Vick will use and endorse four new products for FuseScience.

“Fuse Science has game-changing technology and an incredible team of scientists and business leaders to bring it to market,” Vick said in a statement. “I believe these products will revolutionize how athletes provide their bodies with nutrients and medicines, changing what we have come to accept as normal. Why take a painkiller and wait 30 to 40 minutes for it to work, when a better product can work in one-tenth the time? Why fill up with a 32-ounce sports drink when a couple of drops can give you the electrolytes you need? I’m convinced Fuse Science has the best technology and the most effective delivery system, and that is why I wanted to be more than just an endorsement partner for this company.”

“Evidenced by jersey sales that continue to be among the NFL’s best, Michael’s brand awareness and popular appeal have never wavered and continue to grow rapidly. He will have a tremendous impact on our company’s ability to reach and connect with our target market of up-and-coming athletes who endeavor to be the best at their game,” added Brian Tuffin, Fuse Science President and Chief Operating Officer “Nike set the stage with its major signing of Michael last week, and today, the best is ‘Powered by Fuse!’”

Very true. MV7 could get an endorsement deal from GOD himself and that wouldn't change the minds of these idiots. There hasn't been one significant public figure found that has come out against Vick's current plight in life. And believe-you-me...if there was one, they'd have all the time in the world to unload what was on their mind. So far we've only heard positive things from people who actually know and have dealings with Vick. And for the record...for those idiots who keep saying he's only doing it for the money...NOT ONE OF HIS PUBLIC APPEARANCES TO CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, ETC IS PAID FOR!!! AND HE'S ALREADY COMPLETED HIS MANDATORY COMMUNITY SERVICE. CHECK THE FACTS!!! At this point, it's really not about his crime anymore. His haters have to come up with another "more accurate" explanation for their discontent. I wish they would just MAN UP and come out and say it. But they won't because they're cowards.

Vick is just another moron who gets away playing in the NFL having a federal conviction. I'm an Eagle fan since birth. But I can't watch or cheer for my team when they have a messed up human like that scum.

Not jealous. I just have some morals when it comes to who I wish to choose to cheer for. And that doesn't include dog killers.

@Philly Mike, jealousy is written all over these comments about Vick. Do you really think he's broke..................really? Well if he's broke how do you think he is able to build that mansion in VA, can't build a mansion if you're "broke". I think you folks want to believe in your minds he's broke in order to make yourselves feel better, as I said there is nothing worse than jealousy, yours is showing as well. LOL LOL LOL

Shout out to charmaine, each and every time there is a Michael Vick story especially about success on philly.com, people always have something negative to say, it really says plenty of them and their character. These people I repeat hide behind a computer and keyboard and type away hate, I really believe...rather know, it's racially driven. If someone says they are an Eagles fan or fan of any team, one individual isn't bigger then the team. If your an Eagles fan you root for the team regardless of what individual is on the team, quess some people were really never fans to begin with. I mean everyone entitled to their own opinion, but when is enough enough, he's paid his debt to society in federal prision and community service. Obviously companies see the potential in him to move the product or they wouldn't sign Vick, dude it's not personal it's business and Vick or his team could careless about your thoughts or feelings about him, while he's living his life, your miserable, refuse to forgive and let it go, keep bring up the dog fighting over and over again. I'm sure these people writing believe in God regardless if they are Christian Catholic etc...I'm sure your instructed to forgive, however your God will judge you and keep in mind you picked and choose who you could and couldn't forgive, in life things come full circle, how would you feel if it were you or your children or family and friends, people refuse to forgive. We've all done things in our lives we aren't proud of, none of us are better than Vick, no might not have part taken in dog fights, but we've done other things

I never killed a dog. That makes me a far better human. I don't have to forgive him. God will. Not me. I'm allowed to dislike immoral people.

This is like Kobe 2.0..... "equity partner" Fuse Science..... That Chicago Attorney has a sledge Hammer under the table.

It's a leap to believe he can do for this company what Jordan did for Nike.... but if he's first on board as a Partner..... this has a chance to be fruitful.

That's funny morals living in Philly, wasn't the Catholic Bishop just recently as this week replaced? What brought that on, was it something about those child sexual abuse case cover-ups..... ? Just saying........
