Updated Super Bowl odds

With the draft now completed, the folks at BetUS.com have revised their odds for the NFC and AFC titles and the Super Bowl.
The Eagles are the seventh choice to win the Super Bowl at 16-1. Both the New York Giants (10-1) and Dallas (14-1) have better odds to hoist the trophy in Miami.
Obviously, those three NFC East teams also have the shortest odds to win the NFC. The Eagles are the third choice at 13-2, with the Giants a slight favorite at 9-2 over Dallas, at 5-1.

The Eagles made significant upgrades on offense while the Cowboys lost TO and the Giants lost Burress. We may not have gained a #1 WR, but both of those teams lost #1 WRs so, relatively speaking, we gained ground in the WR department. Without those guys, neither of their offenses strike fear into opponents any more. Eli is a slightly above-average QB without his crutch to throw jump balls to and the Cowboys may have dumped their trouble-makers but they still have no heart on that team. If anyone wants to bet me that the Giants or Cowboys go deeper in the playoffs this year than the Eagles, let me know. I'll take that bet.— JimG- DALLAS?? - The only reason Dallas has higher odds is because Vegas gets alot of bettors (a.k.a. jack-a**es) that bet on the cowboys. Ask any NFL expert who the better team is and it will be the Eagles every time.— commen sense

- Remember odds are set based on the betters expectations. That is to say, the odds-makers are trying to get even money on each team. The key point is that these odds don't necessarily reflect what the odds makers actually think about each team. Cowboys 14-1? - maddy44 i agree with you except for the fact mcnabb wont be any better. he has always had the best pass-blocking offensive line in the NFL. instead of seconds he has minutes to find recievers and still doesnt throw an accurate pass. he will continue to be the leagues least sacked QB with the worst accuracy in passes over 5 yards.— bob121484

- NickEeee is right. The odds don't reflect the abilities. Spagnolo gone has to affect the Giants some, too. Giants can lose the next 10 years but they still have a recent year SB ring. The Eagles need to win 2 in 3 years to shut them up. All I keep hearing is how DMcN got sick on the final drive. Before I die, they need at least once.
