Eagles center Jamaal Jackson underwent a procedure today to have his right triceps tendon repaired by team physician Peter DeLuca, of the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.
Jackson suffered the injury during Sunday’s season opening game vs. the Green Bay Packers. He was officially placed on injured reserve on Monday and will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2010 season.
"I'm a fighter! I beat the ACL in eight months, I'll beat this in four," Jackson wrote in a text message posted on the team Web site.
Mike McGlynn is expected to replace Jackson at center.
