Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel will be in the starting lineup Sunday against Minnesota, defensive coordinator Jim Johnson told ESPN, according to the network's Web site.

Samuel suffered a hip injury during Thursday's practice, coach Andy Reid said, and did not practice Friday. Samuel was listed as questionable on the injury report.

"We think he's going to be OK, but we'll see," Reid said Friday.

Samuel is tied for first in NFL history with three career playoff interception returns for touchdowns, a mark he shares with ex-Raiders star Willie Brown.

Lito Sheppard took Samuel's practice reps.
