Can you find it in you to root for the Giants vs. New England?
Regrettably, yes. Better them than Brady.
Maybe. If I like the spread.
No! Do you see a monkey flying out of my butt?

The Oakland Raiders have narrowed their coaching search to three and Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is not among them, according to CSNBayArea. The Associated Press has filed a similar report.

A person with knowledge of the situation said the Raiders are down to Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, Green Bay assistant head coach Winston Moss and a "mystery candidate." ESPN says the team is negotiating with Allen to fill the job.

Mornhinweg and Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. are no longer in the running, according to the source. Former Vikings head coach Mike Tice, scheduled to interview today, will not be interviewed.

Moss, a former Raider who has ties with new general manager Reggie McKenzie, has been presumed to be the front-runner all along.

Scuttlebutt at the Senior Bowl still has Mornhinweg as a possibility in Indianapolis, although the Colts have not asked permission to talk to him. Owner Jim Irsay has said that the Colts are expected to have a coach in place by the end of the week.

Greg Roman is the mystery candidate. He made Alex Smith look like an actual pro QB. Hopefully he stays as OC is SF until after next season and replaces the fired Andy Reid.

What about Marty's son? Is he still planning to play for Penn State? I'd think the chance to play for Tom Brady's coach should make his decision a little clearer.

The Tonner loves it when mediocrity is recognized and rewarded. The Raiders' recognition is the Eagles' reward. The Gold Standard lives on baby! The real recognition is when Mailroom Howie won't be able to get a job as a scout 3 years from now.

Marty probably lost the "job" when he told the raiders that he was going to bring Castillo with him...

Well, maybe the ravens, or the vikings, how about the panthers. Those are the teams that have ex eagles coaches as there head coach or were there head coach. That is why the eagles are so bad people. Everyother team has pick apart our coaching staff in the past few years. I said it before and I will say it again. Castillo will be a NFL coach one day. How many people can go from O-Line coach to becoming the D.C, with a whole new linebacking core and still have a top 10 defense in the NFL. On top of that, his first season was cut short because of the lockout. Give the man a break. He is a smart guy and will succeed.

Wow, you either work for the Eagles or are completely delusional. His switch from o-line coach to D.C. Was a huge failure. The only reason they finished as a top ten defense is because they played the bottom 10 offenses in the last 4 games. They had the worst Redzone defense in the HISTORY of football they gave up 5 fourth quarter leads. They were Among the worst tackling defenses in the league as well. Castillo was abused by the better O.C.'s and that will not change next year either. This teams insistence on spraying febreeze on a steaming pile of dung is insulting

It took Les only a few seasons after the switch to figure out that there was no penalty box at the Linc, and that the time really wasn't his, despite what Andy Reid kept saying.
