The Titans scored 27 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to hand the Eagles a 37-19 loss, thanks to a combination of turnovers, penalties and coverage issues.

“It’s a great lesson to learn from this,” coach Andy Reid said. “If you handle this the right way and look at it - and I told the team this -- we’ll figure this thing out. There are some great things we can learn and we will make sure that we can do that.”

A fumbled exchange between Kevin Kolb and LeSean McCoy at the 3-yard line gave Tennessee the ball and the Titans scored a field goal to make it 16-10. Reid said the fumble was caused by the Titans getting penetration.

“It came down to you have an opportunity to really put a hammer on things, the turnover at the 3-yard line and they take it the length of the field. That can’t happen,” Reid said.

The star of the game was Kenny Britt, who had 15 catches for 225 yards, the most ever by an Eagles opponent. Reid said Britt “make some nice plays” and beat a variety of coverages.

On Kevin Kolb, Reid said, “He was up and down. He had some good plays, some phenomenal plays and some he’d like to have back. When you play a good team that’s what happens. We have to continue to work with the pressure and make sure we continue to protect him and so on. Make sure we give him the right plays to do so.”

On red-zone struggles, Reid said, “You saw the game. We have to do a better job in the red zone. This is an issue here and we surely can’t have turnovers there.”

On the 10 penalties, Reid said, “I wouldn’t say it’s lazy. They’re aggressive penalties. You have to just work through them and we’re going to keep doing that.”
