Andy Reid has said the Eagles have "an aggressive plan" for when the lockout ends for addressing the team's needs.

Whether that plan includes wide receiver Plaxico Burress is unknown. In media reports and comments from Burres friend Brandon Jacobs, the Eagles have been linked to Burress, who was released from prison on Monday and has been out of the game for two seasons.

Asked today about the Burress reports during the Eagles annual playground build, Reid said, "We haven't even gone there. ... There is nothing you can do there."

That does not mean the Eagles won't be checking out Burress.

As you would expect, Burress' agent Drew Rosenhaus said today on ESPN that Burress will be ready to play when football returns. He said Burress is in the "best shape of his life" and worked out seven days a week during his incarceration. He said Burress is about 15 pounds below his playing weight at the moment.
