Well if travel was to be restricted to emergency vehicles only what choice did they have? Nasty night to be out anyway.

Yeah, I do think it was a good idea to postpone this game. I would hate to find out Monday that people leaving the game were stranded or worse because of the bad weather after the game. Remember a few months back there was a blizzard in Canada that stranded 300+ people on the roads for a couple of days..

No brainer to postpone this game. All the people whining about it should think about the fans risking their lives just to get home from a football game. I understand the immediate reaction but wake up tomorrow morning and reconsider the facts. We'll all be happy on Tues night when the eyes of the football world will be on Philly.

We don't have the resources to handle major snow that New England and the northern states have. This was a good call.

..these greedy clowns could've easily played the game on saturday. they knew the storm was coming. more than most of us did. as it stands the birds are a number #3 seed. that's tues (w), sunday game's vs cowboys was looking like a rather easy w if s mcgee was the starter over injured kitna on normal rest. if kitna doesn't play, birds will win anyway. but if he does, anything can happen.

1if the birds win out and the bears lose@gb(very likely) we'll all laugh about this as the eagles will be #2(maybe even #1 seed if atl loses final 2). but if the eagles are a #3seed that's 3 games in 12days and a much more difficult playoff run.

so. since this "blizzard" was bad enough to cancel a game over (and when was the last game canceled due to snow) i guess nobody's going to work tomorrow either? if people can drive to get to their jobs, they can drive to a football game. if they don't wanna risk it, so be it, but this was utter nonsense. people can and do drive in snow all the time. like the ummiester said, if the eagles lose 1 of their last 2 games or lose the first home playoff game, this f-up will never be forgotten or forgiven.

Wise to cancel game, sure it would have been fun for fans but does any of our key players have experience playing in that? Vikings do. Don't want to lose anyone to a bad injury because of field conditions.
