Both NFC head coaches- Minnesota's Brad Childress and New Orleans' Sean Payton -- are former Eagles assistant coaches.
- What a year..even LBs traded from the Eagles wind up on IR. Joe Funk
Comment removed.- When hasnt Simonwau been on the IR. Dude is a walking bandage.
None of these "writers" seem to have any correclation ability, otherwise how can they take Saints to score more than 30 against Vikes. Saints could only score around 20 against last 5 opponents except Arizona when Bush ran for 200 yards. I don't see Bush running 200 yards against Vikes defense. Seed
I think Colts over Jets. I also think Saints win by 14 over the Vikings. I know it is shocking, but it might just happen with that Saints offense (even against a good Vikings D). Phillyrussian7
anything can happen but vikings beating saints in new orleans is not going to happen this year. farve gets old before your eyes today and allen is neturalized. vikings starting de #91 is playing on one knee. jets defense is very good and rex ryan is the best interview in sports but they are playing peyton manning at home whose receivers are as good as any in the business as is the OL. their defense is also very good. both games are won by the home teams by more than 10. Colts need to key on the run and make Sanchez beat them, Jets need to knock PMan down. Saints must make Farce's ego get them best of him and force ball into coverage. Sharper a key player for Saints. tpizza
After watching the 1st half of the Colts and Jets game, those that say we will get back to the days of the 6-10 record if the Eagles replace Reid and Mcnabb are fooling themselves. Open your eyes. You have a rookie head coach, running back, and QB operating for the Jets. I don't know how this game is going to turn out, but if I was a Jets fan, I would be more optimistic that my team would get to a Super Bowl, than being an Eagles fan. I guess their youth is showing. Also how about Indy with their big weapons, Collie and Garson. Yea, I guess their both 10 year veterns and 5 time pro Bowlers also. watsonmr- watsonmr: You're absolutely right about how awful it wouldn't be if the Eagles replaced McNabb. (Sorry, they just extended Reid, so there's no chance of changing him, much as I'd like it.) And after watching the entire Colts-Jets game, which featured an unbelievable veteran QB and a very promising rookie, I'm ever more ready to have an accurate QB in Philly.
Because Laurie refuses to bring in a good coaching staff who is able to take this good young talent to the next level this city will never know what the jaws of victory feels like. As long as RFEID is here, we will NEVER KNOW.........WE WILL NEVER KNOW! bow
