The Eagles might not be winning, but the Eagles fans are the winners of an NFL players poll in Sports Illustrated.

The Eagles might not be winning, but the Eagles fans are the winners of an NFL players poll in Sports Illustrated.

Twenty percent of the 321 players surveyed said Eagles fans are the toughest to play in front of.

Steelers fans were second with 17 percent, followed by Raiders fans with 13 percent, Seahawks fans with 8 percent and Saints fans at 6 percent.

SI pointed out that over the past 10 seasons the Patriots have more home wins (65) than any other team, but they finished just 16th in the voting with 1.6 percent.

The Eagles have 48 victories in that period, tied for ninth.

The NFC East was voted the toughest host division (25% of the total vote); the AFC East was voted the easiest (4 percent).
