Jason Peters will start at left tackle today for the Eagles.

Peters did not practice until Friday, which was a walkthrough. He has a number of injuries, most crucial among them a quad strain suffered against the Packers.

Linebacker Mychal Kendricks (knee), who might have come in handy as a spy against Robert Griffin III, is inactive, as is starting corner Bradley Fletcher (pectoral muscle). As expected, safety Earl Wolff (knee) is inactive, as are WR Damaris Johnson, LB Jake Knott, and tackle Dennis Kelly.

With Johnson down and new arrival Brad Smith active, you might see a new kickoff returner this week.

WR Josh Morgan is among the Washington inactives.

Last week the Eagles started Roc Carmichael in Fletcher's place. They like to keep Brandon Boykin -- their best corner -- in the nickel role, given that he is only a second-year player. Coaches said during the week they want Boykin concentrating on his primary job.
