RUSHING OFFENSE: The Falcons did a good job of neutralizing Vick as a runner. Eagles averaged just 3.2 yards per carry in the first half. LeSean McCoy finished with 95 rushing yards and had two TD runs.

Grade: B-minus

PASSING OFFENSE: Michael Vick was a turnover machine, losing two fumbles and also throwing an early third-quarter interception that set up the Falcons’ third score. His protection wasn’t very good. Jeremy Maclin had another big day against the Falcons, with 13 catches for 171 yards and 2 TDs.

Grade: B

RUN DEFENSE: The Eagles gave up 8 and 15 yard runs to the Falcons’ Michael Turner right out of the gate, then kept him in check for much of the game, until he broke loose for a game-changing 61-yarder in the fourth quarter on the Falcons’ game-winning touchdown drive.

Grade: C-minus

PASS DEFENSE: After shutting down Sam Bradford last week, the Eagles gave up four touchdown passes to the Falcons’ Matt Ryan. Their past problems defending the tight end resurfaced as they gave up two TD passes to Tony Gonzalez.

Grade: C-minus

SPECIAL TEAMS: Falcons’ coverage units had some early problems dealing with Falcons return man Eric Weems, but did a much better job on him in the second half. Punter Chas Henry had a third-quarter gem that was downed on Atlanta’s one-yard line.

Grade: B

OVERALL: The Eagles had a 10-point lead, but their defense couldn’t hold it. After controlling Michael Turner much of the game, he killed them in the fourth quarter. So much for a 2-0 start.

Grade: B-minus
