The Giants absolutely should NOT be ranked anywhere near number 2. You only have them ranked that high because they lucked into a SB win last year. They were one of the worst teams to ever win a SB, and they have done virtually nothing to improve. They won't even sniff the playoffs this year.

I'm a die hard Philly fan, and I hate the Giants more than any other sports team in the country, but they absolutely did not LUCK into the Superbowl last season. They had a rough regular season, but when they got to the play-offs they showed how good of a team they really are. Eli Manning is an elite QB and he has elite WRs to throw to. Plus its hard to find to much weakness in their defense. As much as I don't like the team they deserved to win it. How about you stop making mindless comments that show how bitter you are, and maybe come up with some smart insight on how the Eagles could finally win a damn Superbowl themselves.

Wow! What's the deal with the incredibly disrespectful comment? Did I do something to offend you? Maybe you should mind your own business. I am allowed to offer my opinions on what I thought of the Giants last year ( the team with the worst record to ever win a SB, ranked dead last in rushing offense, pitiful defense, terrible NFC East record, and I could on and on). Yes, they got hot at the right time, but if you don't think that SF gave them that game, then you either don't watch football or don't know anything about it. They also were not spectacular against the Packers. The Packers beat themselves. They did lay a beat down on the Falcons, and I can't comment on the SB because I boycotted that garbage (although I hear that Eli had another one of his miracle throw-the-ball-up-in-the-air-so-that-his-receiver-can-make-an-unreal-catch-to-win-the-game moments again). Finally, not that I have to explain myself to you, but I comment on these boards all of the time on what moves I believe the Eagles should make or not make.

Philsfan is right. No one "lucks" into a Superbowl victory. It has never happened and it will never happen. The Giants deserve the #2 spot.

The Giants were the most mediocre team to ever win the SB.The fans in NY couldnt wait for the season to end then most didnt even know they were in the playoffs. They were outplayed in many ways and yes got way lucky.there were at least 10 teams better than the Giants last year, but none as lucky

@pricky1: If the Giants are so great, shouldn't they be ranked number 1? You can't have it both ways. And if you don't believe that luck has anything to do with sports, then you are pretty naive, my friend.

No weakness on D? How about 400 points of weakness?

Sorry, luck DOES play a big part in who wins and loses a SB. Match ups themselves are the "luck of the draw". Who's hurt on the other team can be considered LUCK when you are playing that team. Samuel dropping an easy INT was LUCK. Getting out of a sure sack by Eli was luck. If it wasn't it would happen all the time...it doesn't. Rookie return man by SF making costly mistakes was LUCK. That was and is a far cry from an elite team and both the 9ers and Pack should have beaten them and would in a rematch.

The Buffalo Bills are at least 10 spots better than 26th. Considering the devastating injuries they suffered at skill positions were far beyond normal and the improvments they made in free agency and the draft. This could be a decent team this year. The Jets? They are an 8-8 team or worse. There are too many hyped pretenders on that team, including the coach.

Spot on about the Bills. Jim Kelly's track record alone should put them in the playoffs. What? Kelly retired 20 years ago. Nevermind!

Not sure how you rank a team #6 when you predict 8-8. NFC east is good, but not that great. I think you should have waited for the heftiest hype from training camp and then predicted 12-4 and a super bowl....that's what happens every other year from most of the local media (Domo is ussually a little more negative).

Giants at #2 - you are insane. They should have been ranked at #9 at the end of the year but they accidently won the Super Bowl after the Jets rebooted their season.

I'm a huge Eagles fan, but accidental or not they still won a Superbowl with is a lot more the the birds have ever done. Even if the Giants had lost the Jets game, and the Eagles ended up in the play-offs there is no way in hell they could have done what the Giants did. Honestly just shut-up and stop being so BITTER!
