Donovan McNabb said today he still wants to be an Eagle, but he understands the situation and hopes the Eagles provide a quick resolution, one way or the other.
McNabb relayed through a spokesman his response to Eagles coach Andy Reid acknowledging that the team is listening to offers for its franchise QB.
"My position hasn't changed," McNabb said in the statement released to the Daily News and other media. "I've said all alsong that I'd like to win a Super Bowl and finish my career in Philadelphia. I understand the situation well, and just hope, whichever direction the Eagles decide to go in, they do it quickly. I think that would be best for Kevin (Kolb), Michael (Vick), the Eagles and any other teams involved. No matter what happens, I've already begun preparing to have an outstanding season in 2010."
