McCoy: 'We'll See'

POSTED: Wednesday, October 6, 2010, 4:29 PM

LeSean McCoy said today "whatever I can do to get out there and play, I'll do," but McCoy sounded like he wants to see more improvement in his cracked rib before he is sure he'll be on the field Sunday at San Francisco.

McCoy, whose 445 total yards rank fifth among NFL running backs, said he's never had an injury that caused him to miss a game.

"We'll see what happens," said McCoy, who sat out today's practice, along with concussion victims Riley Cooper and Asante Samuel and quarterback Michael Vick, who has cracked rib cartilage that probably will keep him out a week or two, at least. Eagles coach Andy Reid indicated he expects to have Cooper and Samuel in San Francisco.

"It's hard to really tell right now, so we'll find out," McCoy said. He finished Sunday's game after suffering the injury; he gave contradictory information on eaxctly when it happened, but he said he didn't tell head ahtletic trainer Rick Burkholder until after the game.

It doesn't matter who's active for the game if Kolb is QB.

His use is as a receiver this week, won't run much on SF. We really need a win but SF really really really needs a win. Might just wanna stick to the Phillies this week.

hard to think an 0-4 team winning but law of averages tells you SF wins especially in a prime time game at home. Go Yankees!

fpuglisi3910 - kolb can't throw it past 5 yards, so 10 yards looks pretty good right now.

Nothing like sticking to the subject. If McCoy doesn't play, the Eagles have to rely on Bell, who plays like he already has the starting job and doesn't need to show any effort.

Yes they need McCoy, especially if Kolb won't throw down field. As ususual, Eagles are thin at RB. How bout dem Iggles!

I see citysims is one of those losers who thinks you can only be a fan of one sport and that the sports actually compete against each other. Congrats citysims, you are an idiot.
