Let the Lito Sweepstakes begin

Update: A source close to the situation confirms Jay Glazer's report, that soon-to-be-former Eagle Lito Sheppard was enjoying the sun in Tampa yesterday, or at least enjoying the attention of the Bucs.

Tampa coach Jon Gruden likes to bring in veterans and is partial to playmakers, so if the Bucs can come up with what the Eagles are looking for -- presumably a second-round pick and something else, like the fifth-rounder Atlanta got for Arsenio ... er DeAngelo Hall, this long-running drama could be ending.

Remember, if the Eagles get an extra second in Saturday's draft, they'll probably use it to move up in the first, or maybe package it with their other second-rounder for an extra shot in the opening round.

The Bucs' second-round pick is 52nd overall, three slots after the Eagles'.
