Justice will again by writing a regular column for the Daily News this season. Look for his first entry in Monday's newspaper as he talks about how he spent his offseason and his expectations for the new season.

INGRAM'S HEALTH

Tight end Cornelius Ingram spent the final weekend before training camp hosting a football camp in his hometown of Hawthorne, Fla., and proclaimed himself fit.

Ingram has not played in two years after tearing the same ACL twice, once before his senior year at Florida and again last year during training camp before what was supposed to be his rookie season.

“I'm 100 percent for the first time in a long time,” Ingram told the Gainesville Sun. “Last year, I was progressing really well and getting involved in the offense a lot. I was competing with Brent Celek for playing time. I've had great (offseason workouts) this summer, and I can't wait to get back at it.”

Ingram said he did not expect to have much rust, after taking part in the Eagles' spring workouts, but game action and getting hit for the first time will be a change from what he has been experiencing.

“I'll probably have a little nerves, but everyone gets that from time-to-time,” he said. “Playing football is like riding a bicycle; you never forget how to do that. I just haven't really been hit in a while, and that won't happen until training camp. I'm looking forward to that.”

VICK READY

Among the more anticipated arrivals tomorrow will be Michael Vick, who is expected to answer questions from the media essentially for the first time since his ill-fated birthday party.

Vick has been expressing a desire to get to camp and get going on Twitter over the last few days.

Here are two tweets from this morning:

Last day before we report to camp.. cant wait!

So in other words...Tomorrow starts our Superbowl Journey!!!

WHERE'S WESTBROOK?

As training camps begin, Brian Westbrook still has not signed. The Redskins have publicly said they have offered him a contract. He also has visited the Rams and Broncos.

In his column for the National Football Post today, Dan Pompei writes that the personnel men he has talked to consider Westbrook to be the best unsigned running back ahead of  Justin Fargas, Kevin Jones, LenDale White and Chris Brown.

"Westbrook may never be the back he once was, but he can help a team that needs a second back," Pompei writes.
