- Looking at the strength of schedule, I'd say 11-5 or 12-4. Manning has no big target anymore, Romo is the most overrated QB in football today, and well.. the Redskins, are the Redskins. Nuff Said.— greekeagle

Although we did back into the playoffs last year, I believe its been the Eagles advancing, and not your beloved Giants. - Eagles go 12-4 or 11-5. Lose NFC title game. Organization praises themselves. Andy says he needs to do a better job. McNabb acts like a clown instead of a professional. Fans keep giving their money to a core of people who are not capable of getting it done. Just like the movie Ground Hog day, I'll watch and laugh at it all once again.— Voytas
- Smallwood and Hoffmann are the only two with guts enough to make the correct prediction. However, the only reason I believe Hoffmann went with the Eagles is to keep up appearances with the Eagles faithful. Remember, although there is a vocal minority out there who continuously spew rotten about the birds on here (and whom Hoffmann writes specifically for), most people in Philly love Reid and McNabb. Marcus Hayes is an idiot; he's got such a huge ego that he believes by going with the Giants maybe ESPN will hire him as a commentator. Conlin is full of hot air; remember his completely erroneous outlook on the future of Jamie Moyer? Les Bowen simply went with the Giants to impress Hayes, while Donnellon is such an Eli Manning fan he'd ask the guy to marry him if it was legal. Domowitch fancies himself as the all-seeing NFL eye and wants to prove to his peers he's a genius when it comes to sports. (He'll be proven wrong, of course.) He picked the Giants for no other reason than to go against the Eagles. Remember, most of these guys don't like Philadelphia, its sports teams or the fans. The fact that some of them picked against the Eagles in a year that could finally be it proves it.— jimqk

- First half 3-5, Second half 7-1. Just miss playoffs at 10-6. Everyone calls for Reid and McNabb's heads. Many will call for Vick to start next season. (I hope I'm wrong)— scooterj
When will you guys get it? Preseason is done and no longer means a thing. Stop obsessing over how "bad" they looked. '08 preseason: Pats 0-4, Indy 1-4, Balimore 1-3, Minny 1-3, and the biggest kicker...Detroit 4-0. Starters hardly played, and ever so slightly injured players sat. Yes, there's question marks (O-line, TE, MLB, FS), and yes they play in a hard division, but they'll be fine. Giants still don't have a proven WR, still have Manning at QB, and had some injury problems of their own. 11-5, 1st. - What a bunch sorry pessimists you guys are. Losing Bradley loses them 1 game. instead of 12-4 they will be 11-5. Eagles always have bad preseasons. They figured out who they were halfway through last year, when Andy started to run the ball occasionally. The biggest problem they had through the middle part of last year was that they could not get 1 yard on third down. they solve that with Weaver, and maybe Vick. Birds will be good.
- SI has the Eagles missing the Playoffs. With the number of games they have to play on the coast, I'd expect 1 or 2 more losses than you would normally predict from the schedule. Unless McNabb starts out pretty slow, I don't expect the problem he'll have with Vick (not my BFF anymore) will start before the end of the season, like the TO problem coming up after the Super Bowl fiasco— atp2007

- i think the eagles did themsleves a favor by not starting demps at fs nor mays at mlb. weather harris works remains to be seen. gaither is not bradley but a few steps up from mays. i also think babin will be a good addition to a not so good pass rush. they have a lot of speed at receiver but mcnabb is heading downhill fast. this team will only be competative in the nfc if they start running the ball. they are no match to the top AFC teams. they are lucky to have the AFC west this year but even with that i don't see them winning more than ten games. the chargers and bears are losses along with the usual split with n.y. and dallas. when's the last time they beat washington? they could win five in a row to open then lose five strait. reid's teams usually own december and that's where they can make the playoffs with four or five out of the last six. prediction 10/6 only if they run the ball more than in the past.— JACK V
