Is Gus Bradley the right choice for the Eagles?
Yes
No

Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, believed to be the front-runner to replace Andy Reid as Eagles coach, arrived in Philadelphia around 2:30 this afternoon for his second interview with team officials.

Though Bradley is the only candidate known to have met with the Eagles more than once, a source close to another candidate cautioned that Bradley's initial interview, held the day before the Seahawks exited the playoffs at the hands of the Falcons, was shorter than usual for such meetings, given Bradley's focus on game preparation. So this second meeting might be more than just tying up loose ends in preparation for a deal.

"No decision has been made in Philly yet," the source said.

Eagles defensive end Darryl Tapp played a year for Bradley in Seattle before being traded to the Eagles. Tapp told the Daily News Bradley is "energetic, motivated and a genuinely good dude, knows his stuff.'

"If hired, he will be a true asset," Tapp said.

Monday, the Eagles interviewed Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt for about 4 hours, then spoke with Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. If the Eagles indeed are close to a decision, as many people around the process believe, Whisenhunt and Bradley seem to be shaping up as the finalists.

The Eagles liked the Whisenhunt interview, a source said, and Whisenhunt very much would like to coach here.

Bradley is scheduled to interview with the Jaguars Wednesday.

Stay tuned.

If the final choice is between Whisenhunt & Bradley I think we're in a good place. KW has taken a team to a Super Bowl, but like Gruden, he didn't "build it" --- in fact, the team declined steadily in his last three years.

On the other hand, Bradley hasn't had an opportunity to build a team, but I think he has a pretty big upside.

I'd take a shot with Braqdley, but I wouldn't be bummed if they pick Whisenhunt.

VERY happy the two Kellys passed.

Whisenhunt's Cardinals actually went 11-2 from November 2011 to October 2012 so he isn't that far removed from having a very competitive team. The Cardinals just don't have enough QB talent or depth. When your 2nd and 3rd team QBs get 9 starts and throw 2 TDs versus 16 picks, you aren't going to win even if your parents are Pat Summit and Bear Bryant.

Bradley makes so much sense for this town. We love discipline and DEFENSE! I'm sick of watching no hitting cb's an safties and I'm also sick of plyers not being held accountable!

Sign em both. Give em 8 games each next year. That's the next wave in the NFL.

eagles definitely need to hire a defensive oriented coach...do the triage first, stop the bleeding, then address the o line! Evidence...a lot of talent on defense and no one to make it work as a team!

If there's one thing that's evident it's that if someone was a successful O-Coordinator somewhere it has almost ZERO correlaton on their ability to bring the same offensive success to another team as their head coach. Thus based on that premise a guy like Arians makes no sense.

Just look at Billick (Ravens offense was bad), Martz, Zorn, Whisenhunt, Mularkey, etc.....

Hire Bradley as head coach and give Whisenhunt 2 million to coach the offense.

Like Wisenhut but after seeing him flouder without getting a solid QB and leaving that most important position manned by back up quality players that scares me. For that reason alone I say Bradley! Bradley took a D with average talent and molded them into a tough D. Eagles need a tough D and we've only had soft D here over the past few years (since B Dawk left!).

Offense, defense doesn't matter. Just need a good football guy, can win from both sides.
